I have experience not only in translation and interpreting but have also worked extensively in the business world for more than ten years, from customer services and marketing to supervising a distribution department in a busy international company. Clients have included BP, Optoma Europe, Medtronic, Dentalite, the Children’s Library and Humanité en Espagnol. While working with Lightwell Research, I helped publish a daily newsletter, which summarized press mentions in 13 different languages for a European Union agency.

E-training and SEO: I work for a some media clients, writing scripts for multimedia training courses in English, translating content and writing blogs in English with keywords.
Marketing and sales: I have worked for a number of years in busy multinational offices managing small teams and coordinating the tasks and information flow for multinational and local marketing and sales teams.
Research: While working at Lightwell Research I carried out research on issues related to European legislation on the news producing a daily newsletter as well as weekly reports. While at Medtronic I worked extensively with tenders in Spain, as well as carrying out market research tasks related to medical devices both in Spain and in England.
I have also worked for the Content Group a member of the LAC Group researching local legislation in several countries. I read through the sources, finding and selected relevant laws and legislations for our customers and updated the records and databases accordingly.
Reports and analysis: I worked for over 9 years at Medtronic and Optoma Europe in the Spanish and English offices. I worked in the sales and marketing departments. As part of these teams I was in charge of preparing and distributing sales and marketing reports to our different divisions. These reports including sales analysis as well as forecasting.
Health and Medical: I worked for Medtronic, one of the biggest companies in medical devices for five years, translating and proofreading in-house patient literature, medical articles and manuals. Since then I have worked for a number of agencies translating medical texts, including medical reports, pharmaceutical information leaflets and user manuals for electro-medicine devices.
Literary and blog translation: English blog writer and translator for Mirai España. English into Spanish translation of Pottermore.
Public Service Translating and Interpreting: I have gained experience working as interpreter and translator for the local government in Hertfordshire, UK. This includes all services available to the public hospitals, benefits, housing among others.
Technical and marketing: I have worked for ten years in commercial companies, translating during this time manuals, publicity literature and press releases. The products fell in the categories of audiovisual, medical and dental.
